Ask state senators to support SB 541-FN, a bill to end retail pet sales.

Your state legislators will soon vote on a lifesaving bill for New Hampshire pets.

If enacted, Senate Bill 541-FN will help put an end to the suffering of countless animals in substandard breeding facilities and save dogs and cats in New Hampshire shelters.

"This bill prohibits the sale of dogs and cats by retail pet shops except in certain cases."

And by shrinking the retail market for mill-bred pets, there will be more opportunities for homeless dogs and cats to get adopted. That’s why there are nearly 500 similar humane pet sales laws already in place across North America.
