Location: Remote

Hiring Range: This position's hiring range is anticipated to be $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience, plus great benefits!

Interviews will occur weekly until the position is filled.

Summary: TheLMS Administrator will be a key player in overseeing the successful Go-Live of the Workday LEARN implementation and deployment, collaborating with various ProjectManagers, Functional Leads, and consultantsBeyond the implementation of Workday LEARN, this role willbe responsible for the maintenance and execution of the LMS, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the system, content management, reporting and analytics, along with end user training and supportThis role also assists in e-learning creation to deliver high-quality, technology-driven learning experiences to ensure our educational technology supports and enhances and supports optimalbusiness operationsand learning at Best Friends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts in a key role in the planning and implementing the Enterprise LMS on Workday LEARN, with other project managers and stakeholders. Includes testing, development of work aids, training, and end-user communication plansWorks with the Business Systems team to ensure LEARN configuration falls into the capabilities of the existing Workday setup.

  • Liaises with stakeholders for content and configuration needs. Aids in cleaning, converting and validating conversion data while participating in integration testing of content during implementation.Continually ensures data is configured and managed uniformly across all business lines for reporting, integration, and unified process purposes.

  • Serves as the organization’s point of contact for the LMS and liaisons with departmental training coordinators. Works cross-organizationally to provide ongoing daily LMS support, training, and maintenance.Assists users by troubleshooting issues and addressing and resolving technical problemsLiaise with vendors, as needed, for more complex problem-solving.

  • Maintains and createsWorkday reports using LMS-based data to provide visibility into training usage, course completion and evaluation, and course effectiveness. Analyzes and interprets data and identifies gaps that should be addressed to improve learning outcomes.

  • Using Adult Instructional Design theories and new and evolving technology, designs and creates engaging e-learning content and instructional materials.

  • Works with the Business Systems team to support Workday’s semi-annual updates, including researching new functionality, testing, and communicating changes to end users.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, instructional design, or a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and leading people technology initiatives (HRIS, LMS, etc, with a deep understanding of system backend functionality Workday Learn preferred.

  • Proven experience within an LMS implementation, including LMS administration. Workday LEARN is required

  • 2+ years’ experience with instructional design methodologies and technologies, including the use of eLearning software tools (Articulate 360 a plus)and software integrationSCORM / AICC, xAPIWorking knowledge with animation and video editing capabilities is ideal.

  • Detail-oriented with strong competence inanalytical and organizational skills, critical thinking, project management, and time management, focusing on continuous improvement.

  • Ability to interact in a helpful, courteous, and professional mannerEffective communicator with a collaborative approach where excellent customer service is delivered.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite of products.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work at a computer for extended periods of time with repetitive typing, arm and hand motion.
  • Able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours for support and deployment activity.
