Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare

The goal of this department is to serve Amarillo residents by providing care, control and resolution to situations dealing with domestic animals and wildlife. To accomplish this task the Department priorities are as follows: Citizen Compliance with existing laws and codes, Enhance Enforcement of existing laws and codes, Seek improvements to enhance existing rules, Control the Stray animal Population, Increase the Live Release Rate
