The Best Friends Network is made up of thousands of public and private shelters, rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations, and other animal welfare groups — all working to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country.
The NKLA Coalition, led by Best Friends, is at the heart of lifesaving in Los Angeles. Coalition members can receive grants, connect and collaborate with other organizations to help further their work, participate in adoption and fundraising events, take part in mentorship and training opportunities, and more.
From Chews Life Dog Rescue
Chews Life dog rescue was founded by a group of dog lovers in Los Angeles, CA. We are dedicated to re-homing and providing love to dogs from local high kill shelters, abandoned strays, and neglected dogs of all breeds. Chews Life dogs are evaluated for temperament and personality. This helps us to place them in homes that are well suited to their needs and to the needs of their future owners. If you are looking for a specific type of dog and do not see it on our website, please email us. We work closely with other rescue groups and animal shelters and may be able to assist you in finding your best friend.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
