Dylan's Hearts

Dylan's Hearts is a partner of Best Friends, working together to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country

The Best Friends Network is made up of thousands of public and private shelters, rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations, and other animal welfare groups — all working to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country.

From Dylan's Hearts

It is the mission, duty and purpose of Dylan's Hearts to address, educate, and provide aid to reduce the number of companion animals unable to access emergency and/or critical veterinary care due to financial challenges of the animal's caregiver, thereby reducing the numbers of unnecessary euthanasia each year. By bettering the lives of sick, injured and abused companion animals, we are dedicated to insuring that no companion animal has to be euthanized simply because their caretaker is financially challenged. By providing this care, the animal companion will be able to remain as a member of the family. By educating on the importance of spay and neuter in relation to proven health risks for intact animals, Dylan's Hearts will encourage that any animal that receives financial assistance from us will be neutered or spayed if physically able to withstand the procedure at the time of treatment for the necessary care Dylan's Hearts will provide.
