From Humane Society of Sedona

The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization serving the Verde Valley since 1966. We are dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the Humane Society of Sedona is designed to allow every person who desires the love of a pet to be able to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care, while foster pet parents care for the most vulnerable pets outside the Center. No healthy animal or animal with a treatable behavior or medical condition will ever by euthanized. We do not euthanize because of lack of space or as population control. The Humane Society of Sedona relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society's thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets' lives.
