From K9 Kismet Rescue
K9 Kismet Dog Rescue is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes, specifically to rescue and re-home homeless dogs from high-kill shelters in LA and Orange Counties, California. To that end, the activities we propose to conduct include locating and rescuing dogs in the LA and Orange County areas from the euthanasia lists in high-kills shelters, and from owners who want to surrender their dogs to keep those dogs from said shelters. K9's efforts will be to find these dogs foster homes while seeking permanent homes for them. K9 Kismet is an all-breed rescue, however, specializes in bully breeds. In addition to rescuing and placing dogs in new homes, K9 Kismet also provides medical services, food, toys, beds, etc. for dogs whose owners can't afford these services or items for their pets.
