The mission of the Lafayette Parish Animal Control Center is to protect the health and safety of our residents, and to protect animals and promote their humane treatment. The Lafayette Consolidated Government Mayor-President, and the Animal Control Center is committed to moving to become a No Kill Shelter, and is making every effort to promote the pet adoptions of healthy, non-aggressive animals by the general public. Our mission is to work with our non-profit rescue partners, and continue to reach out to seek new partners across the country to rescue our animals.
