Our mission is to rescue dogs from high kill shelters or unsafe conditions. We are committed to providing proper veterinary care, vaccinations, rehabilitation and spay/neuter to all dogs that come into our rescue and find them their new forever home.

PALS' mission is to provide care, shelter, and permanent placement for companion animals, to support the spaying and neutering of all pets to prevent overpopulation, and to educate our communities on the humane treatment of animals.

Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary is a non-profit organization formed to help rescue and find homes for German Shepherd dogs in need and to help support other rescue and shelter organizations in finding homes for German Shepherd dogs. Our primary focus is saving adult and senior German Shepherds and mixes.

Our mission is to create a nationwide network of vets, shelters, and fosters and support all pets in need. Donate money to other rescues needed to commit to rescuing an animal from a shelter. Money is used for medical, transport, boarding etc.

The Ohio Hound Rescue was founded to save the lives of high risk dogs and cats, pulling them from high kill shelters in the areas surrounding Cincinnati, Ohio. Our goal is to steadily increase the number of foster homes so that we can save even more lives. All pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption to help reduce the number of unwanted pets.

We hope to improve the quality of the life for the homeless dogs at our shelter by increasing adoptions through training and socialization and through educational outreach teaching the public that shelter dogs are not damaged goods.

The Humane Society of Shenandoah County is a private non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the health, safety, welfare, compassionate care and protection of animals in Shenandoah County through education and community outreach programs.

The Feral Cat Coalition is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit, all volunteer, organization whose mission is to alleviate the suffering of feral and abandoned cats in San Diego County by controlling their population through spay/neuter. The Feral Cat Coalition works with the public to trap, spay or neuter, and return feral cats back to their colony.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a loving and permanent home for dogs that are deemed un-adoptable because of age and health; who would otherwise be unnecessarily euthanized

Our mission is to bring awareness to the homeless pet over population. No pet should endure a life of pain and suffering from abandonment, neglect or euthanasia. Our life saving efforts have resulted in a change for the lives of several thousand local Hardin County Texas and Southeast Texas dogs. They are now loved and cared for in their forever homes throughout the USA and Canada.

Columbia Second Chance rescues and rehomes between 600 - 700 dogs and cats per year throughout central Missouri. We rescue from both high kill shelters and from the public. We house cats in foster homes and in our facility. We depend solely on foster homes to house our dogs. We provide medical care, food and supplies to our foster homes while they love and nurture them until adoption.

Our Rescue Center provides a safe haven for homeless dogs, giving them the time, care, and love they need to find the right home, not just any home.

The mission of Animal Relief and Rescue Fellowship, an all-volunteer organization, is to provide responsible, humane care and treatment of animals from the city of Leland and the surrounding unincorporated county area. Our goals to achieve this purpose are:. To provide medical treatment for all animals in our care that are sick or injured. To operate an adoption program which places all adoptable animals in responsible, loving homes. To make sure that all animals in our care are spayed or neutered before going into an adoptive home unless they are too young for the procedure. To follow up with adoptive parents of unaltered puppies to make sure they are spayed or neutered at the appropriate time. To help facilitate a low cost spay and neuter program for area residents in need. To humanely euthanize, and only when necessary, those animals that are not deemed adoptable by a majority of Board Members. Euthanasia will be performed according to the guidelines of the Humane Society of the United States. To educate people of all ages regarding the humane treatment of animals. To build a state-of-the-art animal shelter in an accessible location which will also serve as a model for other shelters to follow in handling lost, unwanted, neglected or abandoned animals.. To maintain a website on which pictures and information about animals ready for adoption are posted, including complimentary postings for area residents' personal pets.

We are a rural facility. We are trying to provide education about spay and neuter programs as well as the treatment of animals. We are making the lives of pets better day by day in hope of one day never needing a shelter.

The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter is a no cage adoption center and sanctuary for 200 homeless felines. Included are over 50 special needs cats with chronic medical issues such as diabetes, feline luekemia FELV+), feline immune deficiency(FIV+) and manx syndrome. Our mission is to find permanent, loving homes for cats in our care as well as provide sanctuary to those cats unable to be rehomed due to medical or behavioral issues.

Hand2Paw provides paid internships to at risk youth to work with shelter animals.The youth are aged 18-22 and homeless or aging out of the foster care system and they spend six months working with shelter animals providing care, cleaning and training and helping them find adoptive homes.We current operate the Fishtown Adoption center for the Pennsylvania SPCA (a Best Friends Network Partner) where we directly adopt out several hundred animals a year.

We provide permanent or temporary homes for cats. If we are able to rehabilitate and train the cats we place them into their permanent and loving homes. We understand the need for partnership with local shelters and other animal rescue organizations in order to address the plight for homeless, stray and feral cats. We provide homes for feral cats and make every attempt to rehabilitate cats and place them in a loving home.

FixNation is a non-profit organization operating the only free, full-time spay/neuter clinic in Los Angeles for homeless, stray and feral cats. We provide training and resources for Trap-Neuter-Return programs, and provide reduced rate spay/neuter services for tame companion cats. We seek to change public policy so that TNR becomes the sanctioned and government-funded approach to homeless cat management.
