A vocal advocate for all animals, actress, comedian, writer, Emmy-winner and beloved talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres has lent her support to Best Friends for over a decade.  From filming a PSA from the Green Room of "The Tonight Show" back in 1994 to promote Best Friends dog sponsorships, to attending our Super Adoption, and inviting Best Friends' Animal Caregiver John Garcia and Vicktory dog Georgia to appear on her Emmy-winning talk show, she has showcased Best Friends' adoptable animals on The Ellen DeGeneres Show's website weekly.

"We endeavor to live thoughtful, compassionate lives and we make choices in the way we live and the causes that we support that are consistent with that goal," says Ellen. "Best Friends Animal Society has always held a place close to our hearts because they believe, as we do, that loving, healthy animals should not be dying in our shelters for the simple lack of a home."
