When Neko Case was presented with a DVD set of the first season of "DogTown," the National Geographic Channel television series featuring Best Friends' work with dogs, she kissed it. Such a response demonstrates the singer/songwriter's support of Best Friends. She represented Best Friends at Oprah's Live Your Best Life Walk in New York, and has visited our Sanctuary in Utah, where she filmed this promotional video.

Neko has also donated her talents to benefit the animals. During Best Friends' 25th anniversary, she contributed a song to our compilation CD, had a donation promotion with her record label, and has promoted Best Friends while on tour. In association with Best Friends' work to end the killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters, Neko is featured in a public service announcement urging people to take a pledge to Save Them All. To help spread the word, her record label Anti- donated $5 to Best Friends for every time the video is shared up to $10,000.

"It's all about the big picture," says Neko. "To save one animal, you only have to adopt. But to save them all, you need to get at the very root of the problem of animal homelessness, and that's exactly what Best Friends is doing, and why I feel so strongly about supporting this cause."
