U.S: A moment of hope

For all beings

At this moment of renewed hope for the beginning of an era of peace and justice, may we continue to dedicate our work and prayers to ensuring that the circle of kindness, compassion and generosity that we look forward to is extended to all beings on earth, in the knowledge that all innocent animals--both wild and domestic--also deserve "peace and dignity" and "a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness." 

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
