Internship Opportunities at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary
Animal care internships at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, are open to candidates seeking a career in animal welfare, as well as other candidates who have equivalent life and work experience.
Summer interns are valued team members and play a direct role in achieving Best Friends Animal Society’s no-kill mission and organizational success.
Interns will have the opportunity to meet with Best Friends founders and leaders, learn about and shadow staff in other departments, and attend presentations on various animal welfare topics.
Our 2026 summer intern program runs from mid-May through mid-August. Applications will be accepted beginning in February.
