Saving the lives of cats and dogs in Atlanta
Best Friends is committed to bringing the entire country to no-kill by 2025, and while incredible progress has been made, we need your help more than ever to get across the finish line.
We work collaboratively with shelters, rescue groups and individuals across Georgia and the Southeast to save the lives the dogs and cats through adoption, foster and transport programs.
Best Friends also funds and works with Good Mews community cat program to spay and neuter and vaccinate community cats Atlanta and the surrounding areas.
Based on a foundation of compassion and inclusion, we're working together to help both pets and people. We want to make sure that everyone has the same access to loving pets and that every adoptable pet has the option of residing in the comfort of a foster home rather than in a kennel at a shelter.
