Crypto + Donor Advised Fund

To create your own fund to donate cryptocurrency to the animals, Best Friends offers an option through Endaoment.org. This donor advised fund allows you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate income-tax deduction (e.g. you can deposit long-term capital gains assets, and in many cases deduct the full value of the gift and offset taxable income*) and then recommend grants from the fund immediately or over time.

It’s like a charitable savings account: You contribute to the fund as frequently as you like and then recommend grants to your favorite charity, e.g. Best Friends, whenever you are ready.
