Elizabeth Jensen

Northeast Senior Strategist

Transitioning from regional director, Elizabeth Jensen is now the Northeast senior strategist, working with key supporters to scale and advance Best Friends' strategic priorities to achieve a no-kill country by the year 2025. 

Before coming on board with Best Friends, Elizabeth worked for 17 years in a leadership capacity at Bergdorf Goodman, an iconic New York City luxury retailer. She graduated from Rutgers University with majors in political science and medieval studies. A supporter of and volunteer for Best Friends for more than 15 years, Elizabeth currently lives in Connecticut with her adopted dog, Flora, and her rescued standardbred horses, Music and Elmer.
