About our host city

Best Friends will host this year’s national conference at the Raleigh Convention Center in beautiful Raleigh, North Carolina. Raleigh is a richly historical southern metropolis and an up-and-coming city, bursting with technological and environmental pride, drawing visitors from across the nation.

The Best Friends conference team currently has special hotel blocks reserved for our attendees’ lodging needs. Each hotel is located just a city block from the main entrance of the Raleigh Convention Center and offers an exclusive discounted rate and complimentary guestroom Wifi.

So that you don’t miss out on our discounted lodging rates, please reserve your room through the following links by the deadline stated below. If you make a reservation outside of our direct booking links, you will not receive the same discount as those who reserve a room from the room block. Please know that all hotel blocks can sell out anytime, and we cannot guarantee a discount once all hotel blocks are booked.

Traveling to the conference

Air travel

The Raleigh Convention Center is conveniently located 30 minutes away from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, making flight and ground travel convenient.

We have negotiated discounts with multiple airlines for your travel to and from the event.

United Airlines

  • To fly United and save up to 10% off your fare, please use this link and login with your United username and password. Add ZM34277915 to the “promotions and certificates” box when booking a flight. Train travel

If you’re searching for a scenic and hassle-free trip to Raleigh from the South and mid-Atlantic region, Amtrak train service offers an enjoyable route, complete with breathtaking views of North Carolina. The local Amtrak station is just a half-mile away from downtown Raleigh and the convention center, making traveling to the conference convenient, affordable and memorable.

Vehicle travel

If you plan to drive to the conference, there are plenty of convenient public parking decks adjacent to or near the Raleigh Convention Center. Each parking deck offers ADA-accessible parking spaces.
