*Please note: All recipes that include peanut butter should use dog-safe peanut butter that is xylitol-free.

Xylitol is sometimes labeled as birch sugar. For your animal’s safety, always review the ingredients of any treat to make sure it’s right for your pet.

Dairy-Free Frosty Paws

Mix together:
  • 2 1/2 cups oat milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 1/2+ cup dog-friendly peanut butter*
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 1/3 cup honey

Fill 4-ounce cups two-thirds of the way full and freeze. I usually hide a treat in the center.

Makes: 12 frosty paws

Kitty Delights

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Mix together:
  • 5-ounce can of tuna
  • 1/2 cup white cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup water

Form mixture into small bite-size balls, and place them on a baking sheet. Flatten the balls with a finger — just like you’re making thumbprint cookies.

Bake for 5 minutes. Flip and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Paisley's Birthday Loaf

Preheat your oven to 175°F. Mix together:
  • 3 cups meat (we use lean ground beef)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped/grated veggies (we used carrots and broccoli)
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

Mix and roll into a loaf.

Bake in a bread loaf pan for 80 minutes.

Pumpkin Peanut Butter Treats

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Mix together:
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • 2 tablespoons dog-friendly peanut butter*
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

The mixture should form a dry, stiff dough. Add small amounts of water if needed to make the dough workable.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface. Then, roll it out to 1/2 inch thick, and cut it into shapes.

Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet for approximately 40 minutes or until golden brown.
