In Texas, bigger is better

Adopt or foster a giant cutie

The bigger they are, the more love they have to give. Want to see for yourself? Adopt or foster a big dog today!

Big dogs are cuddle buddies, playtime pals and loyal best friends. But sadly, many of them across Texas are overlooked by adopters, which puts them in danger of being killed just because they don’t have safe places to call home. In fact, more dogs in Texas are at risk of being killed than in any other state in the country.

The data tells us that the dog adoption rate in Texas is only 38%, which essentially means only four in 10 dogs entering shelters are adopted. And the dogs staying in shelters the longest are usually those weighing 40 pounds or more.

Together, we can change that. Adopt or foster a Texas-size dog today.
