Meet Lilly, a petite and charming kitty with a big personality. Independent yet affectionate in her own way, she loves to follow her person from room to room, keeping you company with her adorable little chirps. Lilly is playful and curious, especially when it comes to her favorite spring toy—or even a pair of flip flops or slippers! She enjoys lounging in sunny spots during the day and brings a fun, lively energy to the home. Lilly does well with guests but would prefer to be the only pet. Lilly has a liver condition that may mean her time is more limited—estimated around 3–5 years—but she’s feeling good and enjoying life to the fullest. She also has a mild, endearing wobbliness at times, which doesn’t require treatment and only adds to her unique charm. If you’re looking for a quirky, special companion to cherish and share meaningful moments with, Lilly might just be your girl. To meet Lilly, visit the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center at 1845 Pontius Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. You can also email us at adoptla@bestfriends.org. Please remember, pets cannot be held or reserved. Come by and see if Lilly is the perfect match for you!

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
