Amaro is a 2-year-old gentle, sweet, and timid girl. She may be shy and nervous when first meeting new people, but with patience and a calm approach, she warms up. Amaro shows her affection through soft headbutts during gentle pets and will need time and encouragement to build her confidence and fully come out of her shell. Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.
