You can make a lifesaving difference for homeless pets
To homeless pets in Los Angeles waiting for families of their very own, you can be a hero. You can make a lifesaving difference.
Pets in shelters here in Los Angeles and around the country are killed in shelters every day, just because they don’t have a safe place to call home. In 2021, about 355,000 dogs and cats were killed in shelters nationwide, but you can help change that.
You can adopt, foster, volunteer and advocate for pets. And we can provide training and behavior guidance should you ever need it, or help you find local spay/neuter services. Working together, we'll make California and the entire country no-kill by 2025.

Donate: make a gift to save lives

Volunteer: give your time
You can provide hope and happiness to homeless pets by volunteering.

Foster: open your heart and home
When you foster a cat or dog in Los Angeles, you’re not only providing a safe and loving place for a pet to learn and grow, you’re helping to make room for more animals in the shelter.

Advocate: create positive change
