Learn more about her time in foster care here: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:1fcf79a7-1e3f-4015-9e70-… Molly is a two-year-old female. She’s playful, especially with wand toys. She loves to run around the room, spend some time at the window watching cars and birds, and likes to nap near wherever you are. She prefers not to be held, but will enjoy being near you. She enjoys her personal space, and will let you know when she wants to be pet. Her favorite spots are the sides of her face and the top of her head. She can thrive in a multiple cat household with the proper introductions. She loves attention. Her foster says "I love how curious Molly is. She doesn’t seem scared of exploring her surroundings. She was quite cuddly from the get go. But as days went by she became more and more cuddly and would come sleep next to me or on top of me and cuddle up on the couch. She is soo lovable and cuddly. She will come poke her very cold nose on you to cuddle up to you. And she will be very excited for play and will also self play. Molly started waking us up by making biscuits on us in the morning. It’s the cutest thing!. Molly has great potential to be the best cat you ever have! She’s a great companion. She’s sweet, loyal, quirky, and will always surprise you each day.". She is an intelligent and curious girl. She has some very cute and silly behaviors like chasing her own tail and sleeping almost upside down. She is so different from when she first arrived! In the best way possible, she’s made so much progress from being quite easily frightened and on high alert at all times. Now she’s comfortable, and has adjusted well with new surroundings and people. She just needs time and patience and she’ll become everything you’d want in a cat! She’s playful, energetic, talkative, yet loves to nap and window watch! She’s so curious and goofy. You’ll always find yourself laughing when she’s chasing her own tail in circles or ending up in the funniest positions. She loves to explore her space and doesn’t seem scared of anything! Lately, she started exploring the bathroom and is super curious about water. Molly can thrive in a single cat household or even a home with a few cats!" Molly is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and had preventative treatments to ensure she is ready for her new home. Submit an adoption survey from above and our team will reach out via phone or email (check spam) to schedule a counseling call. For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org.

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
