His expressive face and unusual color pattern give him a unique charm, and his calm, gentle nature makes him a true gentleman. Letty enjoys being brushed and petted and is affectionate, steady, and loyal—a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving and dependable friend. Letty is such a gentle cat with a very calm personality. Letty's fosters have lovely things to say about him , "He was a bit shy and hid under the bed for the first hour we brought him home. After an hour he was very confident, exploring the apartment and purring away, accepting pats and brushes from us. His personality is very sweet, gentle, calm, inquisitive and loving. He likes to curl up next to you and sleep for hours on end. He is very smart, tolerant and perfectly behaved. He is the best companion one could ask for and deserves to find his forever home!" Letty is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and had preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his new home. To meet Letty, visit the Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway, New York, NY, near Canal Street. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Please remember, pets cannot be held or reserved. Come by and see if Letty is the perfect match for you!

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
