Meet Angel šŸ˜‡šŸ¾ Angel is a sweet, quiet girl who is a little more outgoing than her sister, Star, but still appreciates a calm and patient environment. She enjoys gentle attention and soft pets, and thrives in a peaceful home where she can feel safe and secure. As Star’s sister, Angel shares a close bond with her sibling and often finds comfort in being near her. With patience, kindness, and love, Angel will show her affectionate and gentle side, making her a loyal and tender companion. If you’re looking for a calm, loving cat who appreciates a quiet, nurturing home, Angel—and perhaps Star too—would make a wonderful addition to your family. šŸ˜‡šŸ’›šŸ± Angel has just arrived in NYC and is currently staying at one of our trusted boarding partners while they get settled. They’ll be coming to the adoption center soon, but you don’t have to wait to meet them! In-person meet-and-greets can be scheduled by appointment. If you’re interested in meeting Angel, reach out to our team and we’ll be happy to arrange a visit at the boarding facility. We’ll update this page once Angel arrives onsite—but in the meantime, we’re thrilled to help you meet them early!

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
