Adopt Romeo

Romeo is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process! Romeo, a 2 1/2-year-old male, just arrived and is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new—new people, new sounds, new routines—and we’re giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace. A complete 180 from the shelter. He was a bit nervous but not fearful. Within an hour, he was lounging by my side and purring. He loves to look out the window, chase his toys and sleep curled up near my head at night. He spends the whole night, and he’s so soft and cuddly. He likes pets but is sensitive around his stomach/tail and will hiss or get a little slappy or nibbly to let you know he doesn’t want to be touched there. But nothing malicious or frightening. He enjoys exploring but to my relief hasn’t knocked anything over or gone after my plants. He goes crazy for freeze-dried chicken treats and likes to use his cardboard scratcher. He’s so cute at night. When I get into bed, he immediately jumps up knowing that it’s time for sleep. And he’s a great mix of active and being a lounger in his cat bed.". He is a super sweet and snuggly guy, a great companion. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his next steps.
