Meet Potato Chip šŸ„”šŸ¾ Potato Chip is a shy little lady who prefers to take things slow and get to know the world at her own pace. New situations can feel a bit overwhelming at first, so she’ll need a patient, gentle home that’s happy to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Once Potato Chip starts to get comfortable, her sweet personality begins to shine. She can be quite vocal, especially when she wants to say hello or let you know she’s nearby, and those little chats are extra special once you’ve earned her trust. With time, love, and consistency, Potato Chip will blossom into a kind, gentle companion who shows her affection in the softest ways. If you’re someone who believes the best bonds are built slowly and lovingly, Potato Chip might just be your perfect match šŸ’›šŸ± Potato Chip has just arrived in NYC and is currently staying at one of our trusted boarding partners while they get settled. They’ll be coming to the adoption center soon. We’ll update this page once Potato Chip arrives onsite.

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
