Meet Rain — New Arrival! He is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process!
Rain, a 3 1/2-year-old male, is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new—new people, new sounds, new routines—and we’re giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace.
Here’s what we know so far about his time in foster care:

Rain is a very sweet and gentle boy. His foster says "Rain is a little reserved at first, but give him a little space and patience and he will blossom as soon as he starts trusting you. He becomes so playful, talkative, relaxed, and affectionate—and is a big fan of meal time and treats of any kind! Rain was very nervous and quiet at first, but was active the first night. Over the first couple of days as he started to feel safe he started showing more personality, and very chill but spunky! His high pitched chirpy meow is adorable and he loves to chat! Rain is so gentle and a quirky, sweet boy. His squeaky meow and how excited he gets when he sees something he likes are so adorable. If you stop petting him but he wants more he will tap tap tap you with his little paws for more pets. He loves treats and will eat them straight from your hand, even giving you a little kiss after. He also loves being brushed! After a few days with space to feel safe, he started blossoming by playing, asking for pets, and exploring! Within two weeks he was snuggling in bed and hanging out without hiding. A little patience will go a long way and help him feel comfortable fast. Rain is a sweet, gentle, cautious but quirky boy who just loves hanging out with you and window watching. As soon as he feels safe and comfortable he is very easygoing and has an adorable squeaky meow.". He likes to play and loves a good scratching post! He truly enjoys things he likes—watching him look out the windows, play with toys, find new napping spots, all genuinely make him so happy. He gives a little tap with his paws when he want more pets, and goes crazy for treats of any kind.
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his next steps.
