Paradise is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process! Paradise, a three-year-old female, is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new—new people, new sounds, new routines—and we’re giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace. They are great friends and love to play and cuddle together. Paradise enjoys being pet and loves to play. Her foster says "Paradise is an absolute sweetheart. She has the sweetest biggest eyes and the way she looks at you will melt your heart. She’s a low maintenance girly who generally prefers affection on her terms but can be super cuddly when she wants to be. She will sit on your lap when she wants attention and stay put for extended periods of time and purr nonstop. She’s a pretty mellow cat overall and a consistent companion as soon as she feels connected with you. Before then she can be semi timid and will take a little bit of time to warm up but as soon as she trusts you, she is such a lover! Anyone who adopts her will be very lucky to have a loving dependable little buddy!" "Paradise was explorative and accepted pets right away when we got home! She is a sweet, chatty girl and loves to sleep in her green plush chair across from us when we watch TV, but occasionally does hop into our laps for cuddle time. She’s such a playful cat and loves to roll over on her back, look up at you!". She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure she is ready for her next steps. What’s the Best Friends adoption process?

It’s simple! Check out our available animals by browsing online or visiting one of our Best Friends locations. Our team can assist with finding a good fit for your household. After you’ve spent some time (in person or virtually) getting to know the animal and you’ve decided to make it official, you’ll be asked to sign an adoption contract. If there is an adoption fee, it will be collected at that time too. The last step? Bring home your pet and begin enjoying life with your new best friend.

How do I meet Paradise virtually or in person?

For pets listed as available, you are welcome to stop in anytime during regular hours. For pets who are currently off-site, please contact the adoption center by phone.

What are Best Friends’ adoption fees and what’s included?

All pets adopted from Best Friends are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date with age-appropriate vaccines.

Puppies (6 months and younger): $150
Adult cats: $100
Kittens (6 months and younger): $150

What is Best Friends’ lifetime return policy?

Our lifetime return policy means that at any time during the life of the adopted pet, Best Friends will accept the animal back into our program, including matches that no longer work out or situations in which the adopter is unable to care for the pet.

In this case, the adopter is asked to contact Best Friends in advance of bringing the pet back to the location where the pet was adopted. If that location is no longer the closest option, Best Friends staff may arrange to accept the pet at an alternate pet adoption center or authorize an individual to receive the pet on Best Friends’ behalf to bring the pet to a Best Friends facility.
