Orion is on site at our adoption center in SoHo! Orion, a ten-month-old male, just arrived and is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new—new people, new sounds, new routines—and we’re giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace. He has made fantastic progress in his foster home. His foster says "I love how you can see his confidence growing a little more each day - it’s really rewarding to watch him come out of his shell. He has a very gentle, sweet nature that comes through once he feels safe. We love to see his playful side when he's batting around his mouse toys or watching him paw at the wand toy while he's under the couch!" Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.
