With her striking appearance, Alyx is sure to bring joy and love into any home. Her foster says, "Alyx is a shy cat, she was very fearful at first and hid from us the first 48 hours. She let us pet her and would purr but she would keep hiding." She has settled in and its such a joy to see her progress. "She’s very food motivated but takes a while to trust someone. She’s happy for you to pet her and engage her in her safe space (a pop up tent in this case). Now she’s being more outgoing. She’ll come out of her room and see what we’re doing. Especially when food is involved ! She loves a belly rub. She likes our resident cats a lot, loves sleeping on the sofa. She’s a huge fan of string toys ! She is vocal at meal time and has a tiny little meow. She’s takes a her toys and runs off with them, it’s very funny. She’s thriving, even if she’s on the shy side! She’s very sweet and loves to be pet. She purrs like a machine, and loves string toys. She’s food motivated and loves to hang in a cozy spot with a view of the room. She gets along great with our resident cats too! Though she can be skittish at times, this girl has a lot of love to give and we’re confident she’ll blossom in a home that’s willing to be patient as she settles in!"
