Help save homeless pets in AR
Shelters near you need help to save more lives. In 2022, 5,431 dogs and cats were killed in animal shelters across Arkansas, but together with your help, we’re changing that.
Best Friends is working with animal welfare organizations and stakeholders statewide to save every pet who can be saved and reach no-kill through Arkansas by 2025. Your local shelter is counting on your help. Now is the time to get involved and make a lifesaving difference.
Best Friends opens doors in Northwest Arkansas
Best Friends has ushered in a new era of lifesaving with the opening of the Best Friends Pet Resource Center in Bentonville. And we continue to support Northwest Arkansas shelters and rescue groups with lifesaving grants, services through the veterinary clinic, and events like Shelter Saturdays. The Best Friends team has been participating in direct and indirect lifesaving with over 15 prioritized shelters across the state, including North Little Rock, Fort Smith, West Memphis, Pine Bluff, Russellville, and Conway.
