Help save homeless pets in MO
Shelters near you need help to save more lives. In 2021, nearly 2,333 dogs and cats were killed in animal shelters across Missouri, but together with your help, we’re changing that.
Best Friends is working with animal welfare organizations and stakeholders statewide to save every pet who can be saved and reach no-kill through Missouri by 2025. Your local shelter is counting on your help. Now is the time to get involved and make a lifesaving difference.

Best Friends helps organize change in Missouri
Best Friends helped organize the Missouri Coalition of Animal Care Organizations, which has been working on increasing collaboration among animal welfare organizations so that they are able to make more of a collective impact. We’ve also collaborated on educational opportunities through the Midwest Animal Sheltering Conference.
