Lona Williams

Following a career of more than two decades in Hollywood as a Writer and Producer for television and film, Lona Williams founded MODERNBEAST three years ago. Manufacturing toys, apparel and home goods for dogs and cats with a refined sense of adventure, MODERNBEAST gives 100 percent of profits to animals in need.

Lona has volunteered with animal welfare organizations throughout her adult life and served on boards locally in Los Angeles and Wyoming and nationally with the Humane Society of the United States. Lona has been a supporter of Best Friends Animal Society since 1999.

Lona recently moved to New York City with her husband, David O'Connor, son, daughter and three L.A. dogs who believe that winter should last one week and Central Park is heaven. Lona doesn't disagree.
