Bill Maher
Unabashed comedian, social commentator, television host, writer, producer, author, and animal-lover Bill Maher is equally straightforward about his support of Best Friends. He's attended our Lint Roller fundraising events and was featured in the March/April 2013 issue of Best Friends magazine. Previously he generously auctioned off a seat for the highest bidder to attend his break-through television show "Politically Incorrect" with funds going to support our work. It's no surprise that someone so politically outspoken, also provides a voice for animals.
"There's nothing that speaks of the better angels of human nature than the desire to protect the innocent, and there's nothing more innocent than the animals," says Bill.
