A place for the pets and people of our community
The Best Friends Pet Resource Center is a place of opportunity and lifesaving, where homeless pets can find families of their very own.
It’s also a place where people can celebrate pets and find resources to help them care for their animals. Our space is intended for everyone — whether you're here to meet an adorable adoptable pet, find a dog or cat to foster, or visit our maker space to make toys for pets.
Need help? We offer weekly vaccination and microchip clinics, free online training and dog behavior seminars, and a pet food pantry, stocked through community donations. See our calendar of programs and activities here.
This is a place where community members can adopt a new best friend and a place where people can gather to share knowledge with others, build awareness about issues facing animals today, and work together to Save Them All.

Paint with Purpose: You’ll have the opportunity to paint one of the bright faces of our adoptable animals looking for a home!
Paint with Purpose: You’ll have the opportunity to paint one of the bright faces of our adoptable animals looking for a home! Any artist level is encouraged to come and paint a portrait of any of our adoptable animals that will go home with their future adopter.
BYOB!: Feel free to bring a drink or snacks to enjoy as you paint, we'll have limited options to drink for attendees. Don't forget to bring a friend to enjoy the food and fun with!
Meet the Models: Get to know the pets you’ll be painting! Before we begin, you’ll have the chance to meet and learn about the furry friends who will be featured in your artwork.
Let’s paint a brighter future for our pets, one brushstroke at a time.
The event is free, but registration is required. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early!

Leashes and Lattes at the Momentary

Saturday morning is made for hanging out with coffee and a good friend - it’s even better if the friend is a dog!
Best Friends and the Momentary are teaming up to make your Saturday morning just a little bit brighter with Leashes and Lattes, an informal gathering time for dogs, coffee, and the people who love them.
One Saturday each month, Best Friends will be hanging out in the Onyx Coffee Bar at the Momentary with a selection of adorable, adoptable dogs, offering free pup cups- for your pups and ours - from 10 am until 11 am. Drop by and make some new furry friends!

Pop-Up Markets are Best Friends' way of showcasing small businesses and makers in NWA by providing space at the Best Friends Pet Resource Centers where they can offer their merchandise for sale on select Sundays.
Come out and do some shopping, enjoy a delicious beverage or vegan treat from Third Space Coffee, and meet some adorable adoptable pets!
