By 1993, Best Friends hosted our first celebrity benefit at the famous Chateau Marmont with guests including the cast of Beverly Hills 90210, supermodels Claudia Schiffer and Nastassja Kinski, as well as Rene Russo and a squadron of hip Hollywood. The event was eventually branded the Lint Roller Party with the taglines “Dare to Wear Black” and “Glitz, Glamour, Pet Hair” and with A-list guests such as Charlize Theron, Hilary Swank, Bill Maher, Laura Dern, and Debra Messing.
