Sweets is a playful pup with style, spirit, and a whole lot of personality. At just one year old, she’s full of energy and curiosity, especially when it comes to her favorite toys. Give her a good chew toy and she’s perfectly happy entertaining herself. She’s crate trained and keeps her space tidy. Sweets loves her treats, especially dental treats, which makes continued training both fun and rewarding. Sweets enjoys leisurely “sniffy” walks where she can explore the world at her own pace. While cold weather isn’t her favorite, she doesn’t mind bundling up in a cute coat and showing off her fashion-forward side. Sweets approaches new people thoughtfully and appreciates a gentle introduction. When she builds that connection, she loves being close to her person and sharing in everyday moments together. She’s a wonderful match for someone who values a deep, one-on-one bond and is happy to let a relationship grow at her pace. If you’re looking to build a meaningful bond with a fun, expressive young dog, come meet her and see if she’s the right addition to your home! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BNWA/Dog

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
