Meet Milo! šŸ¾ā„ļø Milo was our snow day foster, and we completely fell for him—so it’s no surprise he’s now looking for his next adventure through Best Friends Animal Society! Milo is a 3-year-old Catahoula mix (we think!), bringing all the happy-go-lucky, working-breed energy paired with an absolutely lovable personality. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He has done great with large dogs and enjoys their company, whether that’s playtime or cozy downtime. Milo is fully potty trained and does well in his crate—he may take about 15 minutes to settle, but with consistency he continues to improve. This guy is a total snuggle bug with both humans and dogs. At mealtime, he proudly trots straight to his kennel, ready to eat. He’s great at letting you know when he needs to go outside and loves enrichment, especially frozen Kongs. And yes… Milo is also a professional businessman šŸ’¼šŸ¶. He happily hangs out during work calls, quietly relaxing in his bed or at your feet. Whether you’re dreaming of adventure days or cozy work-from-home vibes, Milo fits right in. About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
