Meet Buddy! Buddy is an 80-lb sweetheart who is absolutely convinced he’s a lap dog—and honestly, he’s not wrong. If you sit down, he’ll happily curl up with you for the softest, most loving snuggles around (even if your leg falls asleep… totally worth it). Buddy has wonderful manners and clearly had love and socialization earlier in life. He’s great with people, walks nicely on a leash, and listens well. While he prefers snoozing on the bed with you, he’s comfortable going into a crate when asked and doesn’t need the door closed. When left alone, Buddy is an easygoing guy—no chewing, no getting into things, and no anxiety. He’ll simply nap in a sunny spot until you’re home. When he’s not cuddling or napping, Buddy enjoys playing fetch or tug-of-war, especially with squeaky toys (those are his favorite!). He’s also learning the command “leave it” and doing well with it. Buddy may not smile in every photo, but he’s smiling on the inside all the time—and yes, he is very handsome (everyone says so).
