The Brookhaven Animal ShelterAdoption Center staff is dedicated to helping the homeless pets in our township. We are proud of the fact that 94% of the animals that came to us in 2008 were saved because of the implementation of adoption programs and additional adoption center hours. Additionally coalition building with private humane societies and other animal organizations, significant upgrades to the kennels and shelter atmosphere, the addition of an education room and new training programs for the staff have all contributed to recent successes.Our outreach programs provide the community with educational and pet companionship opportunities. Help the Animals Fund provides medical care for sick and injured stray animals that previously would have had to be euthanized. Who we are

Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill in 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
