The Best Friends Network is made up of thousands of public and private shelters, rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations, and other animal welfare groups — all working to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country.
From Fayette County Animal Control
Fayette County Animal Control assists the public and the animals of the county by picking up stray pets and housing them in our shelter to keep them safe until their owners can come to reclaim them. If unclaimed, we place the pets for adoption by listing them on the internet and working with the community to find them new, responsible, loving homes. We diligently investigate animal abuse, and enforce animal ordinances to create responsible pet owners.
How is your community doing when it comes to lifesaving?
Our partners support each other and inspire their own communities to increase lifesaving of dogs and cats across the country.
