Our mission is to end the cycle of homeless animals by saving dogs from Central Texas shelters that have no hope of a better life, encouraging our community to spay and neuter their pets, and provide education and resources to help pets live a long and healthy life. Austin Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer foster home based 501c3 non-profit.
As a 100% all-volunteer group, Central Texas Dachshund Rescue rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes dachshunds in need of a second chance at life.
PAWS of Austin is also known as Protection of Animal Welfare Services. We specialize in giant breeds. We have education programs to help prevent cruelty to animals, we aid in the reduction of domestic animal overpopulation, provide care and shelter for sick, injured and homeless dogs, find new loving homes for our rescued dogs. We also assist with disaster rescue and investigation of animal cruelty cases and puppy mill seizures.
Reunion Rescue has a plan. We have created a safe haven for former death row dogs here at Reunion Rescue Refuge. Animals here undergo the Reunion Rescue detox and rehab plan get ready for that forever home.
Our mission is to create a nationwide network of vets, shelters, and fosters and support all pets in need. Donate money to other rescues needed to commit to rescuing an animal from a shelter. Money is used for medical, transport, boarding etc.
Seeing an unanswered need, several Pflugerville Animal Shelter Volunteers established a non-profit organization, Pflugerville Pets Alive (PPA), to provide a way for the community of Pflugerville to make a difference in the lives of animals in Pflugerville including those in the care of the Pflugerville Animal Shelter.

Friends of the Pflugerville Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. Our sole purpose is to support the Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services mission of providing a caring environment for homeless animals without the need to euthanize due to treatable conditions or over-crowding. Friends helps with medical and surgical needs, supplies, promotions and adoption events.
Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) is comprised of Pflugerville Animal Shelter and Field Services and is a service focused department. PAWS responds to animal related calls inside the city limits, including investigating state law and city ordinance violations. PAWS houses stray and unwanted animals, has an adoption and foster program, and a volunteer program. PAWS hosts various volunteer groups from companies and civic groups, and provides education and outreach to youth in the community.
Central Texas Feline Rescue is a non-profit group formed in Round Rock, Texas in 2008. Our organization provides TNR. We feed approximately 13 feral colonies in Round Rock and nearby areas.

Helping Hands Basset Rescue is a 501(3)(c) Not-For-Profit, volunteer organization dedicated to saving the homeless basset hounds of Central, Texas. Our organization gives Bassets a second chance to live as they were intended - as someone's best animal friend.
We improve the lives of abused, abandoned, feral, stray, and injured cats. We promote spay and neuter programs, promote Trap, Neuter and Return as the most humane method of effecting positive change in feral cat populations, provide educational and informational assistance to the public and re-home socialized cats and kittens.
Pawsitive Karma Rescue was founded on the principle of Karmic Law - essentially one good deed leads to another. Every time one of our animals is adopted into a loving home we are able to save another animal from almost certain death at the shelter. PKR is a 100% foster and volunteer based rescue group. The animals we pull from local shelters go immediately into foster care. No rescue facility to maintain means no overhead costs.
Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions (formerly Lago Vista Pet Adoption and Welfare Service, Incorporated) is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter dedicated to preventing animal suffering, rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned dogs and cats and finding homes for these animals, educating the public about responsible pet ownership, and encouraging pet owners to spay and neuter their animals.

PAWS Shelter of Central Texas was founded in Kyle, Texas in 1986 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization providing care and love to homeless, abandoned, and abused animals in Central Texas. We are a no-kill shelter that believes in second chances! At PAWS, companion animals are given medical attention, care, and love for however long it takes for us to find them a loving home.
At Service Dogs Inc., we take in all our dogs from local Central Texas shelters. We train dogs to assist Texans living with hearing or mobility challenges. SDI also trains first-responder dogs to help mitigate the emotional stress of frontline workers and Courthouse Facility Dogs to assist children and victims.
A non-profit, no-kill animal shelter devoted to caring for animals that have been neglected, abused or abandoned. TPAWS provides love, care, and for some, a permanent home. TPAWS accepts animals that would otherwise be destroyed and commits to caring for them as long as care is needed.
Ferallife Guards provides RTF and TNR services to Central Texas and supports local TNR effortsferal cat colony by providing education, data collection/analysisoperational support to the community.
