A Cat's Tale is a small but yet very produtive rescue group. We rescue, spay/neuter, TNR, adoptions and educate the importance of spaying and neutering as well as educating on how a pet is non-disposable, its a family member that you must take care of and love.

Dog Foster Network started with a simple, personal truth: one person can only do so much. Our founder became a foster - and then a foster fail - and realized that the bottleneck wasn't love. It was access, visibility, and support.

Dogs were sitting in shelters and rescues, waiting for temporary homes that existed but couldn't be reached. Fosters wanted to help but didn't know where to start. We built DFN to close that gap.

Today we're actively growing our network of rescue partners and working to bring more exposure to dogs in need - because every dog deserves a safe place to land while they wait for their forever home.

The Peter Zippi Fund ("PZF") provides care and placement for homeless cats and kittens, with a special focus on those abandoned, injured or abused. PZF provides financial, volunteer, and equipment support toward spay and neuter, to low income community members for companion animals of all species, and to any person performing responsible trap-neuter-return for feral or stray cats.

Star Pack Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving shelter dogs, providing foster care and rehabilitation, and placing them into safe, loving permanent homes. Working directly within overcrowded shelters, we advocate for dogs who are often overlooked or need extra support, ensuring they receive the care, time, and visibility they need to thrive.

Caring Songs Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue that seeks to provide a good life for cats, dogs, and all creatures. Any breed, whether purebred or mixed breed, is accepted. We seek to help those animals whose chances of being adopted are slim. By caring for them and nurturing them, we help bring the beauty that is inside visible to the external eye.

The Jackson Galaxy Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, improves the lives of sheltered animals by transforming the places they live and by helping the people who care for them.

Henry's Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on saving injured, ill, and discarded pets (dogs and cats) from high kill shelters in the Los Angeles area. We are 100% volunteer-based and rely solely on donations and fundraising to achieve our goals towards turning our city, county, and state into no kill.

We at The Kris Kelly Foundation embrace Humanity and we give dignity and a voice to the animals that need someone to do it for them.

Our mission is to provide our dogs with the best chance to live in a safe environment, and to be treated with respect, compassion, and integrity. We strive to ensure the best match for our dogs and our applicants. We aspire to educate prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes. Through our efforts, we will improve the quality of life for animals and reduce the number of euthanized animals.

Cage to Couch provides medical care and loving homes to rescued laboratory research survivors and other animals who have suffered neglect and abandonment and cruelty and abuse, including seniors and those with special medical needs.

Rover Rescue is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 to save as many homeless dogs as we can and place them in permanent and loving homes. We also run a very successful Spay/Neuter voucher program for low income residents of LA County.

Here at Guardians of the Wolves, we envision a world in which wolves and wolfdogs are afforded the right to survival and protection; and a community that treats these animals humanely, with respect and kindness.

In order to achieve that vision, we are focusing on three key areas:
Education, Advocacy and Rescue

Education

You cannot preserve a legacy without first changing the misconceptions that many have about wolves. They have long been portrayed as villains in the wild and with our Ambassador program we hope to change their image, give people a chance to get to know the real wolf, and highlight the ecological importance these animals have in their natural habitat.

Advocacy

Wolves cannot speak for themselves and it is our job to stand up and speak for them. We are all stewards to the environment, responsible for the use and protection of the land and the animals who dwell on it. Wolves play an important role in the ecological balance of the environment and we speak on their behalf to ensure they have the place nature intended for them.

Rescue

Unfortunately, there are times when captive-bred wolves and wolfdogs find themselves in a situation where they need help. Often times people are unaware of the challenges of keeping these animals and they end up being passed from home to home, end up in a shelter, or abandoned. We make a difference by networking with rescues and sanctuaries all over the world to place these animals somewhere safe.

Mutternity Project is a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to the mother dogs the system overlooks. Through foster-based sanctuaries, real homes filled with love, we give pregnant and nursing dogs and their puppies a safe place to give birth, heal, and be celebrated. Because when we honor mothers, we change animal welfare for good. For the love of Mother.

L.A.'s first shelter shop that is 100% dedicated to dogs and cats waiting for new homes at our city's animal shelters. Offering a welcoming environment for adoption and selling toys, treats and pet supplies to support adoption. Come meet the amazing dogs and cats who come to us daily from the shelter to find their forever families!

Stray Cat Alliance believes that every cat's life is valuable. SCA advocates for the humane treatment of cats whether in a home or on the streets. We provide TNR support, spay/neuter, trap depots, emergency medical fund, free to the public spay/neuter days, and find cats loving forever homes.

Forte Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization, seeking solutions for pet-overpopulation, as well as working together with the community to cultivate the human-animal bond through educational programs and activities. We inspire compassion and responsibility for animals, in addition to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding homes for companion animals.

Star Paws Rescue was founded by renowned film and television casting director Victoria Burrows in response to the overwhelming need to care for abandoned, abused and injured dogs in the city of Los Angeles.

Hounds and Heroes, founded by Bonnie-Jill Laflin, Sports Broadcaster, and the only female scout in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers, is a national nonprofit dedicated to lifting the spirits and morale of our active, wounded, and veteran military troops worldwide, and to increase community awareness, education, and involvement about the cruelty to animals and necessary care for animals through rescue, foster and adoption.

We are a dog rescue group in Los Angeles. We help homeless dogs in need, whether they are waiting for a home in the shelter, a stray on the streets, or belonging to a homeless person who can not afford medical care.

Every year millions of unwanted companion animals are euthanized across the United States. Animal Wellness Foundation (AWF) rescues homeless animals from the streets and high-kill shelters and places them into loving permanent homes. We also assists low income families with veterinary expenses as a way to keep companion animals with their families and out of the shelters.
