Pet Protectors League is a small grassroots organization comprised of very dedicated volunteers. Our goal is to help reduce the feral cat population in the area through our Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) program and also to provide homes for those cats/kittens we have rescued and rehabilitated. We primarily serve the Wilmington, Harbor City, San Pedro, and Rancho Palos Verdes area.

The Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter, a 501(c)(3) animal service agency, is devoted to providing medical, social, behavioral and financial care for animals at risk and determined to eliminate animal homelessness in the Burbank community.

We are a dedicated group of people rescuing the sick, old seniors, injured, overlooked and forgotten dogs due to their medical conditions or red listed dogs from the shelter that are going to be euthanized. Safe Kitty is a foster-based cat rescue saving lives from Los Angeles County's highest-kill shelters. We pull cats from euthanasia lists, place them in loving foster homes, and match them with permanent families. We coordinate adoptions, arrange transport, and work with veterinarians to ensure every cat in our care gets the love and medical attention they deserve.
BCIN rescues Border Collies mostly from various shelters, rehabilitates them, provides necessary veterinary care and adopts them into forever homes. BCIN accomplishes this by attending monthly adoption events at PetsMart and other adoption venues. BCIN is also an ambassador to Purina Pro Plan Rescue To Rally which brings national awareness to homeless pets.
OC Pom Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Southern California. We rescue and rehabilitate Pomeranians of all ages, sizes, and conditions, and also welcome other small dog breeds into our care. We seek to find them their perfect forever home based on their individual needs and history, while also promoting compassion and educating the public about animal welfare. Our volunteer network runs through Orange County, San Diego County, Santa Barbara County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, Ventura County, and the Inland Empire.
League of Extraordinary Mutts (LOEM) is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving the Los Angeles metro area. We are focused on rescuing dogs that are considered to be part of a vulnerable population within the shelter system. For example, pregnant, senior, special needs and breeds that are more likely to be euthanized first. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason - dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.

The mission of the Old English Sheepdog Rescue is to place healthy but unwanted purebred Old English Sheepdogs in loving homes. Over 1700 Old English Sheepdogs have been helped by our rescue program since 1989. The Olde English Sheepdog Rescue of Southern California's area of rescue includes Fresno to the North, the California state border to the East, the Pacific Ocean to the West and San Diego to the South.
We are currently developing a dedicated facility aimed at providing a safe haven for dogs rescued from kill shelters. In collaboration with Bestybnb, our initiative extends to safeguarding the pets of domestic violence victims, ensuring their well-being until they can be joyfully reunited with their owners. While our facility is under construction, we are actively supporting Los Angeles-based rescues by supplying essential items such as food and health supplements. This endeavor reflects our commitment to animal welfare and our community's compassionate spirit.
