We are a, non-profit 501c3 rescue group dedicated to rescuing abandoned, neglected, and abused animals. We are committed to helping one of the poorest county shelters in North Carolina by rescuing dogs and puppies from the shelter, helping with their medical bills, and donating supplies. We transport and place the rescued animals in foster homes until they become adopted, assist with local animals in need and promote spaying and neutering of all pets.

Our mission is to remove pets from dangerous, neglectful environments and high-kill shelters, and place them into homes with compatible families/individuals where they will be loved and cared for; to offer resources to our community so they better understand how to become responsible pet owners; and emphasize the importance of decompression to our foster parents and adopters and provide them with the tools and guidance to keep our rescues safe.

We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue focusing on homeless cats/kittens in Bergen County, NJ, and beyond. We rescue, rehab, and rehome homeless cats with care and compassion. Pawsitively Furever Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future tax code.Pawsitively Furever Dog Rescue's purpose is the rescue, rehabilitate and provide medical care of dogs in danger of euthanization or requiring rehoming to suitable adopters.

We provide shelter, food and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted companion animals and find them permanent, loving homes. We provide free spay/neuter for feral cats and to people who do not qualify or cannot afford low-cost spay/neuter options.

A Pathway to Hope is a foster based rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of abandoned dogs and cats, with a focus on special needs cases, south to north rescue of northern breed dogs, local rescue of stray cats and all breeds of dogs and community outreach to further the cause of rescue.

The mission of Hounds in Pounds, a 501c3 public charity, is to end the killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the United States daily. We work as a team, we communicate from sunrise to sunset and there are so many moving pieces that make our team a success. Each dog we pull to safety is a member of our team as well and to be clear we are working for them, these dogs are our fearless leaders and we look to them for hope, inspiration and sometimes the strength to keep going.

CPAW NJ provides local residents with solutions to reduce cat overpopulation and suffering through on the ground collaboration for trap, neuter, vaccinate and return (TNVR) and surrender prevention support such as food and behavior counseling in the service of cat (and human) welfare. We envision a world in which cats receive adequate care in their familiar places and the human/animal bond is preserved.

Closter Animal Welfare Society is a 501 (c)(3) animal rescue operating since 1969, serving NJ's Bergen & Hudson counties. CLAWS consists of unpaid board members and volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming unwanted, stray, or abandoned animals. All animals in our care are safely cared for in foster homes throughout the area and are given medical care from local veterinarians.

Treasured k9s is dedicated to rescuing and re-homing Korean Jindo dogs primarily on the East Coast, but we will make an effort to help a Jindo in need wherever it may be. The Jindo is a rare, misunderstood breed that is growing in numbers throughout the U.S. and unfortunately, is also ending up in animal shelters with increasing frequency where they are often misidentified.

Cameron Animal Rescue is the non-profit rescue group associated with Cameron Animal Hospital, which has been helping and rescuing animals since its founding in 1936. Cameron Animal Rescue often works with animals in need of more medical or supportive care than other rescues and shelters can provide.

The Alan Purcell Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing for the humane treatment of dogs and cats in the Township of Wayne and surrounding communities. Each year the shelter cares for the lives of approximately 1,000 animals. Through its aggressive adoption, spay/neuter, community outreach and humane education programs the Shelter is committed to stimulating the public's awareness of the plight of homeless animals.

We are a TNR group that holds a contract with our county for reimbursement of spay, neuter, and vaccine services for community cats in Essex County. Real Dog Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization working with a network of foster homes and volunteers to assist in caring for and providing accommodations for our dogs until forever families can be found. We specialize in the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of dogs in need of a new outlook on life and a new hope for a happier forever.We have experience with many different types and breeds of dogs of all ages, from pregnant moms and new born pups to our special seniors and hospice cases.

We are a small but passionate group of animal advocates with years of experience in rescue, animal care and welfare. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for local dogs, cats, and occasionally other animals in need, with a focus on seniors, special needs, the very young, and the unwanted. We will also assist other animals and wildlife in distress. Community programs include stocking an animal food bank, education, reducing feral cat population, and preventing shelter surrenders.

RBARI'S primary mission is to provide sanctuary and permanent loving homes for the many animals (including elderly, handicapped, and formerly abused) that come through our doors. In addition to food, shelter, medical care, and training, all of our animals receive lots of love by staff & volunteers. All animals are provided an open-ended stay in a warm, safe place until loving homes can be found.
