Our mission is to save the lives of dogs in desperate need while spreading public awareness against animal cruelty and overpopulation. Everyday we save vulnerable dogs from neglect, abuse, and euthanasia. We provide temporary safe foster homes and medical/emergency treatment to prepare these loving animals for heir forever homes. We connect our rescues with new families who will love and cherish them and have helped rescue and place hundreds of dogs in new homes. Our commitment to our rescues goes beyond the adoption process as we stress the importance of responsible pet ownership, and we educate our fosters, adopters, and community on what they can do to help dogs in need.

Our mission is to provide efficient, proactive, and compassionate responses to mitigate residents' animal issues; to enforce ordinances and laws pertaining to rabies control and the humane treatment of animals; to protect the public and property by enforcing animal-related ordinances; and to educate and encourage responsible pet ownership, including awareness of their rights and responsibilities regarding animals.

Adopt-A-Dog is a dog and cat rescue and sanctuary organization serving New York and Connecticut and beyond for nearly three decades. Our shelter is open seven days a week. Our dedicated staff and volunteers strive to provide the best care possible while the animals are at our shelter awaiting safe and permanent homes.

Our mission is to place adoptable cats and kittens into loving and nurturing homes. We prioritize the physical and emotional needs of cats awaiting their forever homes. All cats in our care are vet checked, FIV/FeLV tested, and vaccinated. Each cat is provided with loving care from our volunteers, so they are socialized and their personality and temperament is evaluated. This allows Loving Hands to place each cat with the right adopter and home situation.

We save dogs from over crowded high kill Long Island and New York City shelters. We also established two cat colonies in Queens (FlushingBellerose)and look for foster care for our rescue animals. We have an arrangement with Long Island Animal Hospital that provides medical care for our animals at discounts and have a professional animal behaviorist for problem case dogs.

German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) Rescue of NJ. An all-volunteer, 501c3 organization, we cover all of New Jersey, parts of New York, and assist other recognized out-of-state GSP rescues in emergency situations. In addition to rehoming GSPs, we also work with owners to help them with any issues they may have with their GSP, hoping to prevent a surrender.

We are a small all-volunteer organization dedicated rescuing dogs in need primarily from local overcrowded shelters, as well as puppy mills in PA and the midwest. Dogs are altered, receive medical care, and behavioral rehabilitation in foster homes to help prepare them to adoption into permanent responsible homes. We have a soft spot for the hard cases- seniors, shy or feral dogs, and those less likely to thrive in shelters.

Anarchy Animal Rescue was founded in December 2010 out of need and desire to help address two major animal crises in this country - unwanted adoptable pets and the mistreatment and abuse of animals due to puppy mills. Our goal is to find good loving homes for as many pets as we can take in, care for medically and place in responsible homes.

Twenty Paws Rescue founders, Linda and Rachel, share one common objective and passion. Every day they battle an ongoing epidemic plaguing our streets, the abundance of forgotten homeless, abused, and surrendered animals. Twenty Paws, a small rescue, is only able to bring their ambitious dreams to fruition with the help of an exceptional and dedicated team of volunteers, fosters, donors, and adopters. Tirelessly, the Twenty Paws team utilizes their boundless devotion to provide all Twenty Paws animals with warm and loving care until they find a forever home.

We hope to improve the quality of the life for the homeless dogs at our shelter by increasing adoptions through training and socialization and through educational outreach teaching the public that shelter dogs are not damaged goods.
