The Providence Animal Center is a private not-for-profit lifesaving animal welfare organization. We have large and progressive adoption and foster programs along with many low-cost or free veterinary and behavior services for the community to limit the number of pets being surrendered to shelters. We perform Humane Law Enforcement in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
The Animal Rescue Foundation of Southeastern Pennsylvania saves the lives of dogs, cats and rabbits who may be euthanized at public shelters and promotes adoption as a way to enhance the lives of both pets and people. We are working towards a day when every pet is spayed or neutered, and every companion pet has a permanent, loving home.

All 4 Paws Rescue is non-profit, foster-based, all-breed, no-kill animal rescue based in Malvern, PA that offers rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary to animals in need. We do not have a physical shelter you can visit - all of our animals are housed in foster homes.All 4 Paws Rescue is made up of volunteers and foster homes that care for and socialize our animals.Most of our animals have been rescued from death row from high-kill shelters and auctions and given a second chance at life.Our goal is to offer each and every one of these animals a safe, permanent and loving home. The Grannie Project is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and adoption of senior pets.We believe that older pets are just as adoptable as younger animals, because of the calm loving companionship they offer.The Grannie Project is committed to lifetime care for animals that we have rescued, and animals who have health issues too severe or terminal to be adopted, will live out their lives in the comfort of a volunteer's home.The Grannie Project is an all-volunteer organization, and is funded entirely by donations and grants.
We are a nonprofit organization that helps to financially support animals who have been abandoned, neglected, and unable to be cared for and give them a second chance at life. We rely solely on donations to help these amazing animals.
We are focused on rescuing and re-homing friendly, stray, abandoned, cats and practicing TNRM (Trap, Neuter, Return, and Manage) for the feral cats in Philadelphia. We network and utilize local, low-cost spay/neuter clinics and veterinarians for sterilization, vaccinations, health assessment, and treatment of medical conditions for the cats that we rescue.
Angel's Retreat provides a loving environment for senior, hospice and special needs dogs as well as dogs in need of additional medical/behavioral help prior to adoption.

Hand2Paw provides paid internships to at risk youth to work with shelter animals.The youth are aged 18-22 and homeless or aging out of the foster care system and they spend six months working with shelter animals providing care, cleaning and training and helping them find adoptive homes.We current operate the Fishtown Adoption center for the Pennsylvania SPCA (a Best Friends Network Partner) where we directly adopt out several hundred animals a year.
Retired Tails is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to rescuing senior dogs from local shelters and providing them with their very own Fur-Ever retirement home, where they will live out their best days in the happiest, most loving, and forgiving setting before their final transitions to Paw Heaven. At Retired Tails, our senior dogs will truly feel like they are living their golden days, receiving the ultimate praise and pamper for a doggy life well lived.
We believe every cat who wants a home deserves a home. The Cat Collaborative serves to create best-practice initiatives, support and amplify the work of partner rescues and shelters, coordinate and enhance neighborhood relationships and build an effective volunteer network to strategically serve cats and those who love them.
SCRF's mission is to prevent kittens being born into homelessness by providing Trap-Neuter-Return services. Additionally, SCRF provides medical care to urgently-sick strays in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas. Our focus is to find homes for stray cats who would have been abandoned and give them a chance at a loving home. We are 100% foster and donation based and we have recently opened a small adoption center called The Scratching Post.
Second Chances Rescue, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was established to find loving homes for cats and dogs in the Philadelphia community. More specifically, Second Chances Rescue, Inc. (SCRI) will help rescue, rehabilitate, foster, and make cats and dogs available for adoption into permanent and loving homes in the community. Our mission is help improve the quality of life for animals in need.
Our initiative will start off as being foster based. Because of all the rescues we have worked with in the past, we already have several dedicated and proven foster homes. We will pull Time Stamped (Dogs that are to be euthanized for medical and/or behavioral/or space reasons) from Philadelphia's Animal Control team. We will provide any kind of medical and behavioral aftercare that these dogs may need. We will asses their temperament and personalities within their foster homes and work diligently to place these discarded dogs into loving and compatible forever homes.

Saved Me Inc. is a non profit organization that is focused on saving dogscats from shelters that are forced to euthanize due to limited amount of space.
