The Delta Animal Shelter is a 501c3 no kill open admission shelter. Our mission is to be the caring voice for animals in need. We are committed to promoting animal welfare and to educate the public on spay/neutering their animals. Our food bank helps individuals in the community who are unable to afford food for the pets.
The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter (UPAWS) is a non-profit, community-supported, open admission animal welfare organization. Our mission is to "Aid in the sheltering and adoption of animals, Promote responsible pet ownership, Actively educate and promote the importance of spaying and neutering to help alleviate pet overpopulation, and Assist in strengthening the human-animal relationship.
