MAGSR is dedicated to rehabilitating and providing a second chance to shepherds that have been abandoned, abused, lost, strayed, or surrendered. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year.

We identify, rescue, and place full and mixed breed corgis in need. We do this through rescue, community outreach, fundraising, and by using our platform to generate public awareness. Our structured rescue program is centered on finding the ideal match between each corgi we rescue, their unique needs, and the foster/adopter. By being a breed-specific rescue with over 20 years of corgi experience, we are uniquely positioned to contribute to reducing the number of corgis in puppy mills and shelter systems.

The City of College Park Animal Control Officer (ACO) enforces both City and County animal laws. The goal of the City's Animal Control is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the City's residents and animals. The City's Animal Control Officer is on duty and patrols the City to meet variable seasonal and weekly needs.

Beltsville Community Cats, an all-volunteer organization formed in 2019, works with residents and businesses to humanely reduce the number of free-roaming community cats in Beltsville, MD. We use targeted Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return and natural attrition to reduce unwanted litters and keep feral cats healthier. We rescue stray, abandoned, and feral kittens for placement in foster homes, socialization, vetting and adoption.

Wolf Trap Animal Rescue's primary mission is to support a life-saving foster, transport, and adoption program which was developed to rescue young animals in danger of being euthanized in Mississippi from overpopulation. After emergency transport to Northern Virginia, these pets undergo an extensive veterinary intake evaluation and then are placed in foster homes until they find their forever home through private MeetGreets.

Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation helps homeless pets find their way into loving homes through rescue and adoption. We offer same-day adoptions and two-week trial periods. Over 45,000 lives saved since 2001.

NoVa Cats Advocacy, Inc. uses social media to highlight adoptable adult cats in local shelters, rescues, and foster homes. City DogsCity Kitties Rescue is made up of a network of volunteers who foster cats and dogs in their homes.

TCAR is a volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to improving the lives of unhoused cats, reducing their numbers, and protecting them from abandonment. Laurel Cats is a community effort to find and implement ways for feral community cats to live safely alongside people, their homes, and their businesses throughout Laurel, MD while humanely reducing their numbers.
